The Swine Industry has had its challenges of late. Aside from available feed, production goals, changes in commercial processing, increases in litter size and live birth weights, as well as, mortality, have necessitated the reformulation of diets that meet the specific nutrient needs of pigs across all production stages.
Their goal: focusing on optimizing growth, reproductive performance, immune resilience, and gut health by balancing energy, amino acids, minerals, vitamins, and functional feed additives. Chlorella is perfectly balanced the way nature made it – it 100% addresses the goal.
We’ve been working with the pork industry for the past two years on ways to integrate Chlorella as a Superfood for swine, as well as, a means to eliminate synthetic dyes in production.
In addition to conversations with top swine integrators, we are awaiting results of our Titration Study conducted by NC State University specifically addressing the viability of using Chlorella in swine diets.
BVG is also prepared to offer cost effective electricity to farmers for automated systems with combined cooling, heating and power (CHP) for the betterment of the animals.
