Anthony (“Tony”) Teece is the founding force behind BVG Bioenergy, Inc., bringing more than five decades of international experience in engineering, construction, and renewable energy development. Born in Manchester, Great Britain, and educated at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Tony holds a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
From the outset of his career, Tony demonstrated an ability to combine hands-on technical skills with strategic project leadership. He began as a junior field engineer in the construction sector and quickly advanced through roles in design, fabrication, and high-precision equipment production for the oil and power industries. His progression from Project Coordinator to Senior Project Manager reflects a career built on technical excellence, discipline, and leadership across procurement, erection, commissioning, and ISO 9001-quality construction practices.
Tony’s career has taken him across the globe—leading major infrastructure projects in Egypt, Europe, and Malaysia before relocating to the United States in 2000, where he directed large-scale pollution control upgrades at coal-fired power facilities.
In 2011, Tony co-founded HydroSphere Power Generation, pioneering renewable technologies in hydro-electric and bio-electric power. Under his guidance, HydroSphere successfully developed two hydro-kinetic generation systems and the innovative Bio-Electricity Pod. By 2013, he unified HydroSphere and Power Plant Professionals, LLC into Eco Energies Group Limited, establishing a platform for integrated renewable systems.
Today, as President and Chairman of BVG Bioenergy, Inc., Tony continues to apply his lifelong commitment to innovation and sustainability. His leadership has been instrumental in advancing BVG Bioenergy, Inc.’s Closed-Loop Microalgae technology and in positioning the company at the forefront of regenerative feed and energy production.
Wayne Eargle is a founding member and Chief Technical Officer of BVG Bioenergy, Inc., with more than 40 years of experience in mechanical engineering and power-plant operations. A licensed Professional Engineer in both North and South Carolina, he holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
Wayne began his career at Duke Energy’s Allen Steam Plant, where he supported operations and maintenance for a 1,245 MW facility, later advancing to Duke’s General Office to lead system-wide process improvements in maintenance and outage management. He went on to serve as Senior Manager at Duke/Fluor Daniel, helping establish its Operating Plant Services division as a premier O&M provider to the fossil fuel industry.
Today, he leads BVG Bioenergy, Inc.’s electro-mechanical and instrumentation development, integrating the Company’s Algærithm™ automation technology within its Closed Loop Accentuation Process to deliver optimized algae-cultivation performance.
Marcio Faot, a founding member of BVG Bioenergy, Inc., brings more than two decades of applied experience in engineering design, manufacturing, and renewable-system development. Born in Curitiba, Brazil, in 1976, Marcio began his career in the plastics engineering and molding industry, where he specialized in conceptual design and the fabrication of precision components for industrial equipment. His early exposure to innovation and materials science established the foundation for his later work in sustainable manufacturing systems.
After emigrating to the United States, Marcio co-founded a construction company that executed government infrastructure contracts in Florida before expanding into the residential sector. His hands-on leadership in design, renovation, and modernization of housing developments across South Florida sharpened his technical and project-management skills.
Marcio later joined HydroSphere Power Generation in a strategic partnership alliance, where he co-designed and constructed the first Closed Loop Accentuation Process Pods in Fort Lauderdale. Relocating to North Carolina, he led the design and fabrication of a 40%-scale demonstration trailer that became the centerpiece of BVG Bioenergy, Inc.’s early research and development program. Working alongside faculty from Brunswick Community College’s bio-marine department, he cultivated algae from lab-scale cultures to algal oil over a 12-month period, refining extraction methods and optimizing component integration.
His subsequent innovations include advancements in LED pod lighting systems capable of replicating complex daylight conditions, and the dimensional calibration of EpiCube™ cultivation cells to maximize photosynthetic yield.
Today, Marcio directs BVG Bioenergy, Inc.’s mechanical and photonic engineering programs, overseeing system integration and collaborating with automation and instrumentation partners to embed Algærithm™ parameters within all operational units. His multidisciplinary expertise has been instrumental in transforming BVG Bioenergy, Inc.’s vision into a practical, scalable technology platform.
Joanne “Jo” Adcock brings more than four decades of operational leadership, administrative excellence, and organizational development experience to BVG Bioenergy, Inc. Throughout her career, she has distinguished herself as a highly capable, systems-driven professional recognized for elevating performance, strengthening processes, and guiding teams toward consistent, measurable results. Jo’s career reflects deep expertise in operations, financial services, customer service systems, event management, and corporate support across both Fortune 500 environments and mission- organizations.
Prior to joining BVG, Jo served for 16 years with Modern Woodmen of America, where she worked as a Financial Representative (FIC), assisting clients with financial planning, retirement strategies, asset-based decision-making, and investments. She also coordinated Modern Woodmen’s fraternal programs across multiple North Carolina counties—planning community events, school programs, and fundraising initiatives that delivered measurable impact.
Before relocating to North Carolina, Jo built a diverse and successful track record within complex corporate systems. At Impressions Marketing Group in Virginia, she managed accounts receivable for major national accounts, identifying systemic inefficiencies, recovering more than $2 million in outstanding receivables within three months, and redesigning operational workflows to improve accuracy and reduce overtime.
Her earlier career includes ten years with MG Productions in Maryland, where she served as Assistant Director overseeing large-scale event design, planning, and execution for clients. She consistently improved cost controls, renegotiated vendor contracts, and strengthened administrative systems for the company.
Jo also held progressive leadership and administrative roles within the Bell Atlantic / Bell System organizations, supporting division heads, directors, and sales teams in high-demand telecommunications environments. Her work included operational management, logistics coordination, proposal editing, customer demonstrations, and systems training. She earned repeated recognition for superior performance, customer-facing excellence, and department-wide process improvement initiatives.
Highly experienced in MS Office applications, data reporting, customer relations, and organizational process mapping, Jo is known as a trusted, composed, and solutions-oriented leader. She excels in fast-moving, high-stakes environments and brings a uniquely balanced combination of operational discipline and human- management to BVG.
Jo holds an AA in General Studies with a concentration in psychology from Montgomery College (Phi Theta Kappa, GPA 3.9). She has completed extensive training within the financial services industry and previously held Series 6 and Series 63 investment licenses, along with Life & Health insurance designations. Her comprehensive training across telecom systems, administrative technologies, accounting practices, and office management further contributes to her broad operational skill set.
At BVG, Jo plays a key leadership role in strengthening internal systems, managing cross-departmental operations, supporting compliance workflows, and helping ensure that BVG meets its rapidly expanding operational, regulatory, and customer-facing requirements.
John is a chartered surveyor and a non-practicing barrister of the Middle Temple of England and Wales and has over 40 years of experience in the construction field, including 18 years working in contracting organizations, at all levels from the board room to the construction site, and 22 years in advisory, consulting, dispute resolution, and expert roles. John has been involved in diverse projects such as coal and mineral mining, mining stabilization, pipelines (oil, gas transmission and distribution, fuel, and water), power transmission (deforestation and transmission line construction), earthworks, heavy and light rail, roads, commercial buildings, and water and wastewater processing. The range of project values John has been involved with ranges from less than $100,000 to more than $15 billion.
John has worked in Canada, the Caribbean, India, the Middle East, Sri Lanka, the U.K., and the U.S., and has advised contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owner/employers. John has served as a testifying expert and has presented evidence on both quantum and delay issues. John is experienced with dispute avoidance strategies, dispute management, dispute resolution, inclusive of formal and alternative procedures, and has performed the role of an advocate.
As a trainer and educator, John has been a tutor and examiner for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a regular facilitator of training courses for the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) and other internationally used forms of contract. John has taught seminars and lectures on various bespoke and off-the-shelf subjects and regularly appears as a panel presenter on construction-related matters for a diversity of professional bodies, government departments, and international law firms.
Kelly Thibodeau, a founding member of BVG Bioenergy, Inc., brings more than two decades of multidisciplinary experience in project controls, administration, and industrial safety across the construction and energy sectors. Born in Franklin, Massachusetts, in 1973, Kelly began her career in 1999 at the American National Power Plant in Bellingham, Massachusetts, where she was responsible for scheduling, documentation, and procedure development. Her early focus on compliance led her to achieve OSHA certification and serve as safety officer on multiple industrial projects.
Kelly advanced steadily into roles in project controls, payroll, and procurement, developing strong technical and contractual insight. She compiled claims documentation and maintained liaison with several Massachusetts trade unions, enhancing her understanding of labor coordination and contract negotiation.
Her field experience includes contributions to one of the world’s largest SCR retrofit projects, a multi-boiler replacement at the Coastal Oil Refinery in Aruba, and subsequent assignments involving claims, arbitration, and project management in Florida.
She later joined the world’s first operational-scale absorber project in Paradise, Kentucky, expanding her project control expertise in fired-heater technology and unscheduled outage management. At a leading fired-heater design firm, she deepened her experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Engineering Design through to mechanical completion, while managing logistics and international documentation for global shipments.
Kelly subsequently joined Current2Current, which evolved into HydroSphere Power Generation, before assuming her current role as Chief Administrative Officer of BVG Bioenergy, Inc. She now oversees the development and implementation of BVG Bioenergy, Inc.’s corporate policies, administrative systems, and project-control frameworks that support the company’s regenerative feed and energy operations.
Lee Ward, a founding member of BVG Bioenergy, Inc., is an accomplished electrical engineer and automation specialist with more than three decades of international experience in industrial controls, instrumentation, and systems integration. Educated in England at Aston and Handsworth, Lee holds formal qualifications in Instrumentation Measurement & Control, Industrial Electronics, Microprocessor Applications, and General Electrical Engineering.
A five-year indentured apprenticeship with one of England’s premier “Blue Chip” engineering manufacturers provided Lee with extensive hands-on training across multiple engineering disciplines, forming the foundation for his lifelong career in control systems and automation.
In addition to his technical credentials, Lee holds formal qualifications in Commercial Marketing and Sales, having led product development and global launch programs for leading technology firms specializing in industrial automation software. His career has combined engineering and business acumen, enabling him to bridge technical innovation with market execution.
A prolific inventor credited as an “Original Artist” on several registered patents, Lee continues to develop creative solutions to complex automation challenges. He is an active member of professional organizations including the Institute of Engineering Technologists, IEEE, ISA, ISPE, ACEC, and AEE, and maintains close collaboration with industry peers across the power, infrastructure, oil and gas, and life sciences sectors.
As Executive Vice President of Engineering and Design for BVG Bioenergy, Inc., Lee applies his expertise in control systems, automation, and process integration to advance BVG Bioenergy, Inc.’s proprietary cultivation, monitoring, and energy-generation technologies. His leadership ensures precision, reliability, and scalability in every aspect of BVG Bioenergy, Inc.’s engineering design.
Steve Janz brings a distinguished record of leadership in scientific-equipment sales, international business development, and export compliance to BVG Bioenergy, Inc. His career bridges science and commerce, combining a technical background in microbiology and chemistry with decades of experience helping companies translate technological innovation into global market success.
Steve has held senior marketing and export roles within the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, guiding both small enterprises and multinational organizations in commercializing complex products and systems. A Certified Global Business Professional since 2017, Steve serves as a member of multiple professional and civic organizations, including the North Carolina District Export Council, the North Carolina Foreign Trade Promotion Council, the American Chemical Society, the American Industrial Hygiene Association, and the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers.
His achievements have earned national and international recognition, including the U.S. Export Achievement Award, the Coastal Entrepreneur Award in Biotechnology, the UIBS USA–India Technical Collaboration Award, the National Small Business Exporter of the Year, and the U.S. Small Business Administration North Carolina Exporter of the Year.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Steve is an active community mentor, working with MBA students at NC State University’s Poole College of Management and serving on advisory boards for the UNCW Cameron School of Business, where he helps shape export-focused curriculum and student engagement.
As Chief of Business Development and Global Trade at BVG Bioenergy, Inc., Steve leads the Company’s outreach to local, national, and international markets. His expertise in export policy, regulatory compliance, and trade promotion supports BVG’s mission to deliver renewable-energy and feed technologies to where global demand is greatest—one BVG Bioenergy, Inc. solution at a time.
